Comments: This is the first in a line of Derek Rocks CDs. I had been burning CDs for other people, like my cousin who loves modern rock, and my friend's dad who digs the classic rock. I had all these songs on my computer and listened to both their collections and compiled them into a blend I could call my own. Track listing: 1. Bad Company - Can't Get Enough 2. Limp Bizkit - Take a Look Around  Comments: Inspired by previous "Rocks" effort I figured I could make another CD using the same logo as before and inserting the word "Still". I also continued the use of the little guitar playing character I had found online, but this time drew him myself. I still had some songs I dug from other people and put those on, but I had expanded my own personal collection of MP3s including a fairly thorough collection of songs by Trey Parker and Matt Stone's (creators of South Park) band DVDA. DVDA - What Would Brian Boitano Do Pt. II  Comments: Really enjoying my two previous CDs I decide I should keep this thign going. I start calling the little character "The Derek Rocks Man" and decide that he works well with the covers. I take the image used on the the first CD and draw in a concert background. At this point I'm listening to the radio a lot and am making CDs for other people often. There are more songs I've downloaded for my own personal use on this CD, though. Track listing: 1. U2 - Beautiful Day  Comments: Here's what I did: I took a bunch of songs that I liked and hadn't been on other Derek Rocks CDs, grabbed a cool looking background, and drew a close-up of the Derek Rocks Man real fast before I left to go on a vacation. This CD got played soo much on that trip and was soooo great! I really liked it a lot and I made it a priority to make the songs flow well from one to the next as opposed to the random order of the other CDs. Track listing: 1. Good Charlotte - Little Things  Comments: With the year 2000 winding down and the year 2001 not being nearly as catchy I figured THIS was the time to make the CD "Derek Rocks 2000" or I never would. So I made a little visual gag about this being the 5th CD in the series by having the Derek Rocks Man hold up five fingers, but because he has four fingers he has to use two hands. The interesting thing about this volume is that I made a lyrical insert for it. It took a long time to get all the lyrics for each song and then figure out how to print the pages so they'd go together. Well it eventually worked out but I sure as hell wasn't going to put lyrical inserts on just ANY CD! Track listing: 1. Nickleback - Breathe 2. Crazy Town - Butterfly 3.
